I set the maps up so that they would download fairly fast and print on one page. Nothing is more frustrating than having to have two maps and always being off the edge.
Because my site is set up as a 2 frame page if you click on print or print from file it will print both frames. Its possible that the map might not print right that way... The right side of the map might not print for instance.
So to print a map {or a map description}...first click on the map frame {right frame}. Then click on print. This should bring up a print window. Make sure that the button, print "Only the selected frame" is checked. Then click OK or print and the map {or map description} should print correctly.
I'm not sure if this procedure is the same if you are a Mac user...? Let me know if you know how it works on a Mac system.
